  เมื่อวันที่ 19 ก.ย. 2563 บริษัท China Railway Construction Engineering Group (CRCEG) รายงานว่า บริษัทฯ ได้ก่อสร้างสถานีรถไฟนาเตย แขวงหลวงน้ำทา แล้วเสร็จเป็นที่เรียบร้อย นับว่าเป็นสถานีรถไฟแห่งแรกตามเส้นทางรถไฟลาว – จีน หลังจากที่ได้ติดตั้งชิ้นส่วนคอนกรีตสุดท้ายด้านบนอาคารหลักของสถานีแล้วเสร็จ

• คณะกรรมาธิการแม่น้ำโขงได้ข้อสรุปกำหนดเวลาสำหรับการปรึกษาหารือล่วงหน้าของโครงการไฟฟ้าพลังน้ำซะนะคาม

  เมื่อวันที่ 4 มิ.ย. 2563 คณะกรรมาธิการแม่น้ำโขง (MRC) จัดการประชุมคณะกรรมาธิการร่วม MRC นัดพิเศษ ผ่านระบบประชุมทางไกล โดยที่ประชุมมีมติขยายระยะเวลาการสรุปผลกระบวนการแจ้ง การปรึกษาหารือล่วงหน้า และข้อตกลง (Procedures for Notification, Prior Consultation and Agreement - PNPCA) ของโครงการไฟฟ้า พลังน้ำหลวงพระบางถึงวันที่ 30 มิ.ย. 2563 เพื่อให้ประเทศสมาชิกมีเวลาในการพิจารณา แสดงข้อคิดเห็น และให้คำแนะนำอย่างรอบคอบ เพื่อลดความเสี่ยงและผลกระทบข้ามพรมแดน จากนั้นจะเริ่มกระบวนการ PNPCA ของโครงการไฟฟ้าพลังน้ำซะนะคามหลังจากกระบวนการ PNPCA ของโครงการไฟฟ้าพลังน้ำหลวงพระบางแล้วเสร็จ

  <div>เป็นเขื่อนแบบฝากน้ำล้น (Run-of-River) มีกำลังผลิตติดตั้ง 1,460 เมกะวัตต์ สันเขื่อนมีความยาว 275 เมตร สูง 79 เมตร </div>
  
  <div>กว้าง 97 เมตร มีประตูระบายน้ำ 9 ประตู โดยเป็นประตูระบายตะกอน 3 ประตู และมีทางเดินเรือ ที่สามารถรองรับน้ำหนักเรือได้ 500 ตัน </div>
