• โครงการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการร่วมมือลงทุนพัฒนาเขตเทคโนโลยีระดับสูงลาว – จีน

  เมื่อวันที่ 8 พ.ค. 2563 ศ.ดร. บ่อเวียงคำ วงดาลา รัฐมนตรีกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี สปป. ลาว และนายคำพัน สิดทิดำพา เจ้าแขวงเวียงจันทน์ เป็นประธานร่วมการประชุมปรึกษาหารือเกี่ยวกับโครงการศึกษา ความเป็นไปได้ในการร่วมมือลงทุนพัฒนาเขตเทคโนโลยีระดับสูงลาว – จีน โดยมีรองเจ้าแขวงเวียงจันทน์ หัวหน้ากรม/สถาบัน เจ้าเมืองและผู้แทนแผนกที่เกี่ยวข้องของแขวงเวียงจันทน์ และภาคเอกชนเข้าร่วม

• พิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์โครงการสายส่งไฟฟ้าไปยังทางรถไฟลาว – จีน

  เมื่อวันที่ 30 ธ.ค. 2562 นายทองพัด อินทะวง รองรัฐมนตรีกระทรวงพลังงานและบ่อแร่ สปป. ลาว นาย Jiang Zaidong เอกอัครราชทูตจีนประจำ สปป. ลาว นาย Chen Yunpeng รองประธานบริษัท China Southern Power Grid (CSG) นายบุนอุ้ม สีวันพัง ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่รัฐวิสาหกิจไฟฟ้าลาว และนาย Ding Xingzhong ผู้อำนวยการ Yunnan Energy Bureau ได้ร่วมพิธีวางศิลาฤกษ์โครงการสายส่งไฟฟ้าไปยังทางรถไฟลาว - จีน ณ สถานีไฟฟ้า โคกสะอาด นครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ โดยจะติดตั้งสายส่งไฟฟ้าขนาด 115 กิโลโวลต์ จำนวน 20 สายส่ง รวม 268 กม. และจะขยาย 11 สายส่งใน 10 สถานีย่อย เพื่อส่งไฟฟ้าจากสายส่งของรัฐวิสาหกิจไฟฟ้าลาวไปยัง 10 เสาย่อยของทางรถไฟ โดยผ่าน 5 แขวง ได้แก่ แขวงหลวงน้ำทา อุดมไซ หลวงพระบาง เวียงจันทน์ และนครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ โดยได้เริ่มก่อสร้างเมื่อเดือน ธ.ค. 2562 และจะแล้วเสร็จภายในสิ้นเดือน มี.ค. 2564 เพื่อให้ทันตามกำหนดการก่อสร้างทางรถไฟลาว – จีนที่จะแล้วเสร็จในเดือน ธ.ค. 2564

• โครงการก่อสร้างทางรถไฟลาว - จีนมีความคืบหน้ากว่าร้อยละ 70

  นายแท่นคำ ทองบน รักษาการหัวหน้าคณะคุ้มครองโครงการทางรถไฟลาว - จีน เปิดเผยเมื่อวันที่ 2 ต.ค. 2562 ว่า ในเดือน ส.ค. 2562 โครงการก่อสร้างทางรถไฟลาว – จีน มีความคืบหน้าร้อยละ 76.2 การส่งมอบพื้นที่ให้โครงการฯ มีความคืบหน้าร้อยละ 98.29 ของพื้นที่เส้นทางรถไฟและสถานีรถไฟทั้งหมดจำนวน 3,000 เฮกตาร์ ทั้งนี้ คาดว่าโครงการดังกล่าวจะแล้วเสร็จตามกำหนดและพร้อมเปิดให้บริการเที่ยวปฐมฤกษ์ในวันที่ 2 ธ.ค. 2564

• The Sri Lanka Thailand Business Council (SLTBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT) in Bangkok in February 2019.

  The Sri Lanka Thailand Business Council (SLTBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the   Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT) in  Bangkok in February 2019. Mr. Kalin Sarasin, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, and Mr. Rizan Nazeer, President of the Sri Lanka Thailand Business Council, signed the MOU in the presence of Mrs. Kshenuka Seneviratne, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, and Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, with the presence of Thai Board of Trade members and SLTBC executive members.<br />
  The BOT  was  established in 1933 to act as a coordinator between the Government and private sector to promote trade and protect the interests of the country. SLTBC was established 22 years ago as the focal point for the Sri Lankan businessmen to promote trade, investments and tourism between Thailand and Sri Lanka. It is affiliated to federation of chambers of commerce and industry of Sri Lanka ( FCCISL) and  an incorporated body with more than 100 active corporate members.<br />
  At present Thailand is Sri Lanka’s 36th export destination and 9th largest import destination. This MOU is expected to further strengthen the trade between two countries. <br />
