  แมงกานีส หินปูน โดโลไมต์ และแบไรต์ ในพื้นที่กว่า 570 แห่ง ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ 162,104 ตร.กม. คิดเป็น<br />
  ร้อยละ 68.49 ของพื้นที่ประเทศ ส่วนมากขุดพบในแขวงสะหวันนะเขต แขวงไซสมบูน แขวงอุดมไซ แขวงอัตตะปือ และแขวงเซกอง เป็นต้น<br />

• กาแฟลาว สินค้าการเกษตรยอดนิยมในการส่งออกของ สปป. ลาว

  กาแฟ นับเป็นสินค้าส่งออกที่สามารถสร้างรายได้<br />
  เข้า สปป.ลาวจำนวนไม่น้อยในแต่ละปี สมาคมกาแฟลาว (Lao Coffee Association: LCA) ระบุว่า การส่งออกกาแฟ ระหว่างเดือน ม.ค. - มิ.ย. 2565 ปริมาณ 14,559 ตัน คิดเป็นมูลค่า <br />
  41 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ โดยส่งออกไปยังกลุ่มประเทศในภูมิภาคเอเชียมูลค่า 33 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ และส่งออกไปยังตลาดยุโรปมูลค่า 7.5 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ <br />
  กาแฟที่ผลิตใน สปป. ลาวส่วนใหญ่อยู่ทางตอนใต้ <br />
  ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีสภาพอากาศค่อนข้างเย็นและชื้นเหมาะสำหรับ<br />
  การปลูกกาแฟ นอกจากนี้ การปลูกกาแฟทางตอนเหนือของ สปป. ลาวเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็วหลังจากนักวิจัยด้านการเกษตรพบว่า มีภูเขาที่มีความเหมาะสมในการปลูกกาแฟ จึงได้ส่งเสริมการปลูกกาแฟทดแทนการปลูกฝิ่น <br />

  เมื่อวันที่ 23 มิ.ย. 2563 นายจันทะหนอม วงสมจิด หัวหน้าแผนกแผนการและการลงทุน แขวงไซสมบูน สปป. ลาว ในฐานะผู้แทนองค์การปกครองแขวงไซสมบูน และนาย Ying Jin Xiang ประธานบริษัท HB Trading Import - Export จำกัด ได้ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจจำนวน 3 ฉบับ ได้แก่ โครงการศึกษาและสำรวจข้อมูล ทางด้านน้ำมันและก๊าซธรรมชาติ โครงการศึกษาและสำรวจความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนปลูกพืชแบบอินทรีย์ใน 5 เมือง ของแขวงไซสมบูน และโครงการศึกษาและสำรวจความเป็นไปได้ในการลงทุนส่งเสริมการปลูก การอนุรักษ์ และการแปรรูปใบชาป่า (ชาเหมี้ยง) ที่บ้านหนองพูนไซ เมืองล่องแจ้ง แขวงไซสมบูน โดยมี พล.ต. คำเลียง อุทะไกสอน เจ้าแขวงไซสมบูน นายจันทะบูน ลัดตะนะวง รองหัวหน้าห้องว่าการศูนย์กลางพรรค ในฐานะหัวหน้าคณะช่วยงานพัฒนาพื้นที่เป้าหมายส่วนกลาง นายคำบุนนัด ไซยะนน รองรัฐมนตรีกระทรวงกสิกรรมและป่าไม้ สปป. ลาว และผู้บริหารแขวงไซสมบูน เข้าร่วม

  The Sri Lanka Thailand Business Council (SLTBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the   Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT) in  Bangkok in February 2019. Mr. Kalin Sarasin, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, and Mr. Rizan Nazeer, President of the Sri Lanka Thailand Business Council, signed the MOU in the presence of Mrs. Kshenuka Seneviratne, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, and Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, with the presence of Thai Board of Trade members and SLTBC executive members.<br />
  The BOT  was  established in 1933 to act as a coordinator between the Government and private sector to promote trade and protect the interests of the country. SLTBC was established 22 years ago as the focal point for the Sri Lankan businessmen to promote trade, investments and tourism between Thailand and Sri Lanka. It is affiliated to federation of chambers of commerce and industry of Sri Lanka ( FCCISL) and  an incorporated body with more than 100 active corporate members.<br />
  At present Thailand is Sri Lanka’s 36th export destination and 9th largest import destination. This MOU is expected to further strengthen the trade between two countries. <br />
