‘Doing Business with Thailand’ is a business project undertaken by the Royal Thai Embassy, Colombo twice a year. The project aims at matching the potential business partners of the two countries and enables business deals in sectors such as education, agriculture, pharmaceutical, fisheries, construction materials, consumer goods, hotel industry and tourism.

In February 2015, H.E. Mr. Nopporn Adchariyavanich, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka, led a group of Sri Lankan businessmen to Thailand. The business visit resulted in successful business deals between the private sectors of the two countries and has led to a number of growing business networks among the business counterparts.
