The WesternRegion Megapolis Development Plan
The Western Region MegapolisDevelopment Plan, also called Western Region Megapolis Planning Project(WRMPP), is a urban planning, zoning and development project aimed at creating a Megapolis in the Western Province of Sri Lanka by 2030 , which would help address the issues of waste management, traffic congestion, slums and environmental pollution. This project is intended to build a Megacity that matches other well-known economic hubs such as Dubai,Singapore,Seoul and Tokyo. For more information, please visit http://www.megapolis.gov.lk/
